Stendra Description
How Stendra Can Help to Restore Your Love Life
Stendra is a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor or simply a PDE5 inhibitor. Normally, sexual stimulation causes the release of nitric oxide (NO) in the vasculature of the corpus cavernosum. The nitric oxide activates a certain enzyme that results in an increased level of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) that relaxes the smooth muscle around the blood vessels so your penis receives an increased blood flow and becomes erect. Stendra (Avanafil) is responsible for inhibiting the degradation of cGMP so you can achieve and maintain an erection suitable for sexual intercourse.
Conditions Treated by Stendra
Erectile dysfunction is not always a condition in itself, but may be symptomatic of a different underlying issue. Your doctor may start by performing a physical exam, taking note of your history, family life, job, and so on. This information is gathered to help determine the cause of your erectile dysfunction (ED). Whether it’s a medical condition, your mental state, poor diet, or bad habit, you may find satisfaction with Stendra.
As a newer addition to the PDE5 inhibitor family of ED meds, Stendra has a more rapid onset with a shorter duration of action. This means you will have a quicker ‘on-demand’ use with Stendra and can successfully engage in intercourse after fifteen minutes or gives you up to six hours to choose when to have relations.
Before You Take Stendra
Tell your doctor about any medical conditions or allergies you have and provide a list of current over the counter medications and Rx drugs you take, including herbal remedies and dietary or vitamin supplements so it can be determined if Stendra is safe for you to take. Until you know how your body will react to Stendra, you should not perform any tasks that could be considered risky.
Stendra Precautions and Proper Use
Sexual stimulation is required to achieve an erection; simply taking Stendra is not enough. Stendra should only to be taken once a day. You should not consume more than three alcoholic drinks before taking Stendra and you should avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice as this could lead to unwanted or increased side effects. See a medical professional immediately if your erection lasts more than four hours to avoid possible damage to your penis.

USES: Avanafil is used to treat male sexual function problems (impotence or erectile dysfunction-ED). In combination with sexual stimulation, avanafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis to help a man get and keep an erection. This drug does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases (such as HIV, hepatitis B, gonorrhea, syphilis). To decrease your risk of infection, always use an effective barrier method (latex or polyurethane condom/dental dams) during all sexual activity. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details.
